Raising Your Order

  • Please raise your order by 3pm the day before your delivery day.
  • All orders should be faxed or telephoned to us.
  • If you do not contact us to raise or cancel your order, we will revert to the standing order set out in your Service Agreement.

Standing Orders

  • We will establish a standing order of linen so that you will not have to raise a new order for each delivery if you do not want to.
  • This will only be used if we have not received an order, or cancellation, from you.
  • You can amend your standing order at any time.
  • You will always retain the flexibility to order exactly what you want by 3pm the day before your delivery day.

 Order Quantities

  • Most of our linen is packed in batches of 10.  So, if you require 66 double sheets, you need to order 70.

 Safety Stock

  • The initial order should include a safety stock.
  • The safety stock should be a sufficient level of linen to ensure that you can operate smoothly in the event of unforeseen delay in delivery.
  • The safety stock level should be checked regularly.

Documentation

  • You will be supplied with a 3-part order pad, which lists each item of linen.
  • You should enter your order quantities next to the category of linen required, the name of the hotel/health club and the delivery date to which the order relates.
  • On delivery of the linen, you should check that the actual delivery agrees to the order form.
  • The 3-part order form must be signed by you and by our driver to confirm the delivery.
  • The top 2 parts are then detached and retained by us for pricing, and the third part is for your records.

Invoicing And Payment

  • Please note, with Walton Lodge, there are no minimum hire charges.  There are no contracted quantities and therefore, no penalties.  If you are less busy simply order less from us.
  • You are only charged for the clean linen that you order (provided you take over £50 worth of linen a week). A standard discount structure is applied based on the weekly quantities of linen taken.  
  • The minimum weekly delivery charge of £50, per scheduled delivery is not an additional cost, just the minimum weekly charge for the service.
  • We send weekly invoices and statements. However, you can elect to pay weekly or monthly.
  • Monthly payments must be received by the 15th of the month following delivery of the linen.
